Our panelists will share their experiences on how to communicate actuarial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Kaley is an actuarial analyst at CNA Insurance in Chicago, Illinois. She works in Commercial Pricing on the umbrella and general liability lines of business. Kaley is originally from Miami and graduated from Florida International University in May 2023. As a student, she was involved in various OLA programs, such as OLA Academy and the Rising Leaders Program. In her spare time, Kaley enjoys reading, rock climbing, and playing sports.

Eric Sligay, ACAS, MAAA

Ally Insurance | Executive Director, Actuarial

Eric Sligay serves as Executive Director, Actuarial for Ally Insurance. He is also the Appointed Actuary for Ally’s four insurance companies, three in Michigan and one in Bermuda. His responsibilities include leading the pricing and reserving functions for Ally Insurance. Eric has 25 years of experience in Insurance, including pricing, reserving, data management, and finance. He earned a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Kettering University in Flint, Mich. and master’s degree in applied mathematics from Wayne State University in Detroit. He became an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) in 2012.In his spare time, Eric enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Verisk Senior Actuarial Analyst

Francisco is a Senior Actuarial Analyst for Verisk in Jersey City, New Jersey. Working in Personal Lines Actuarial Products on Actuarial Initiatives team, he provides support on different personal lines products and helps create/maintain new products on the company’s new platform.

Milliman | Actuarial Analyst

Nestor is an actuarial analyst at the Milliman Indianapolis Health Practice. His role revolves around providing services for Medicaid agencies ranging from capitation rate setting, health care cost efficiency evaluations, and data visualization projects. Prior to Milliman, Nestor worked at a large regional CPA firm providing tax consulting services for middle-market clients.
